WANT TO BRING YOUR COMMUNITY TO IVER HEATH BOWLS CLUB?
If you are a community group and need a space to use, why not contact your local bowls club?
Iver Heath Bowls Club has multiple facilities for you to use including bar, kitchen and a large function room. Free WiFi is also included with all of the facilities upon request.
FANCY A GO AT BOWLS?
Bring your community along to give bowls a try! Mornings, afternoons or evenings can be arranged for you and your community to come down and play the sport itself with some of our members. All ages and abilities are always welcome, just get in touch using our 'Contact Us' page.
Please note that Iver Heath Bowls Club is not available for private hire.
SCOUTS VISIT
Iver Heath Bowls Club was visited by the local Scouts group for an evening of bowls under the floodlights! Over 20 young people came to have a go with some of our members and spent the evening having plenty of fun (and competition). This is becoming a regular event within our community and we'll look forward to welcoming the Scouts back again soon.
FUNDRAISING AND DONATIONS
Iver Heath Bowls Club were delighted to work in collaboration with a local community group, Twinkle Together, to provide opportunities for anyone within the local area to stop by for a chat, a coffee and some delicious cake. Anyone is welcome and all details can be found on the poster below!
Iver Heath also hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning recently which had a great turn out. Over £2000 was raised for the charity and a big thank you to Twinkles for arranging the Tombola.
Club Captain John Norkett is pictured below alongside the President of Dennyside Bowling Club from our annual charity match presenting a cheque for over £2000 to Iver Environment Centre. Another amazing effort to raise such a huge amount and continue to give back to our local community.
FUNDRAISING
Thanks to the Wexham and Iver Community Board and a Grant from Heart of Bucks we have been able to replace 30 chairs in our club house.
Our new chairs have brightened our clubhouse and are much easier to move and clean.
This will be a huge benefit to our members, visitors and Community groups that we are encouraging to use our facilities.
